SDNB Collects Combined 31 Tommy Award Nominations

New Berlin, Wis. - The cast, crew, pit and directors of Eisenhower’s Into the Woods and West’s Guys and Dolls
 have combined to earn 31 Tommy Award nominations from the Overture Center for the Arts.

 

Eisenhower’s Into the Woods had 21 nominations including for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Ensemble,
Outstanding Orchestra and Outstanding Overall Design.


Into the Woods also garnered six nominations for Outstanding Lead Performance: Larsen Seely (Baker);
Maddie Mainwood (Baker’s Wife); Jake Ringwall (Jack); Kendra Kabara (Witch); Kenzie McKowen (Cinderella)
and Kennedy Harwood (Little Red). The performance also received four nominations for Outstanding
Supporting Performance: Katie Dionne (Jack’s Mother); Aaron Jackson (Cinderella’s Prince); Katelyn
Farebrother (Rapunzel) and Cooper Hawley (Wolf).


Additionally, Eisenhower earned nominations for Outstanding Direction (Mary Kirby and Natalie Baertschy),
Outstanding Musical Direction (Baertschy and Kirby), Outstanding Scenic Design (Baertschy and Kirby),
Outstanding Stage Management (Grace Statdfield), Outstanding Costume Design (Kirby), Outstanding Lighting
Design (Kirby) and Outstanding Sound Design (Doug Hoeft).


Five Guys and Dolls West performers earned nominations for Outstanding Lead Performers: Ryan Vanselow
(Nicely-Nicely), Hunter Leathers (Sky), Krysta Hoffmann (Sarah), Evan McKenzie (Nathan) and Madi Soiney
(Adelaide). Two received nods for Outstanding Supporting Performance: Spencer Anderson (Abernathy) and
Mason Primus (Harry the Horse).


West’s additional nominations were for Outstanding Ensemble, Outstanding Choreography (Jaclyn Jankowski)
and Outstanding Scenic Design (Judy Smith).


Winners will be announced in May and invited to perform in the awards ceremony Sunday, June 10, at the
Overture Center in Madison.
