New Berlin Eisenhower Makes Newsweek's Top STEM High Schools 2020 List

New Berlin Eisenhower is one of America’s top STEM – science, technology, engineering and mathematics – high schools, according to an all-new Newsweek ranking published earlier this month.
Eisenhower ranked 302nd nationally, one of only five Wisconsin high schools to crack the list. Eisenhower’s score is 92.18 out of 100.

Newsweek partnered with STEM.org to compile the rankings. According to the Newsweek website, the publication and STEM.org determined its rankings by utilizing regression analysis that takes into consideration
a broad set of quantitative and qualitative data inputs collected from 2015 to 2019.

The purpose was to determine which primary/secondary institutions in America best offer students experiences in STEM while preparing them for post-secondary outcomes. Additional factors including affluence and median household income were taken into consideration in compiling the rankings.

Cedarburg (157th) and Whitefish Bay (180th) were the only Wisconsin schools ahead of Eisenhower. Those schools were joined by The Prairie School (393rd) and Madison West (488th) as the state’s representatives.
