Computer Programmer Mentor Needed for 2019-20 School Year

The district is putting a call out for computer programmer mentors for our 2019-20 AP Computer Science Principles course.  The class meets from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.  The time commitment would be one to two times per month.  

Course Description: The AP Computer Science Principles curriculum framework focuses on the creative aspect of computing and computational thinking practices that enable students to experience how computing impacts their everyday lives. This course emphasizes the themes of Creativity, Abstraction, Algorithms, Data, Programming, Internet, and Impact. This course will benefit all students including those that are not pursuing a career in the Computer Science field.  For grades 9-12.
