All are welcome to attend the 3rd annual iAID Pitch Night!

This evening is a culminating event dedicated to celebrating the hard work our iAID student teams have been doing throughout the semester to develop original solutions to some pretty complex issues based on their customer discovery and the Lean Launchpad methodology.  This year's challenges each include a technical component to help students ideate around the use of technology to solve problems.  Each student team will present their solution to the challenges developed by the {Innovation in Milwaukee} Commons Program.  Solutions will be judged by The Commons Innovation Fellows:

• TECH INNOVATION:  Develop a "software as a service" solution to help veterans manage their finances.
• GLOBAL/SOCIAL INNOVATION:  Utilize an AI chatbot to create a new way for nonprofit organizations to manage and grow their volunteer base.
• ENGINEERING INNOVATION:  Transform an existing consumer tool (handheld or powered) to perform new or additional functions or serve an entirely new market.
• HEALTHCARE INNOVATION:  Create a connected device (IoT) for senior living facilities.
• RETAIL INNOVATION:  Utilize a digital technology to develop a new way to engage young male shoppers and drive in-store traffic.

Following the formal program there will be an expo style open house where guests can visit with all participants to find out more about their experience and proposed solution.

5:30 pm                 Doors open

6:00 pm                 Formal program begins (guest speakers, team presentations)

7:30 p.m.               Expo (networking with refreshments)

7:50 p.m.               Winners announced
